Actually, it's a real good deal. Does it matter in the grand scheme of things if it's pancake lenses or frenel lenses? But price difference between 500 and 300 usd is huge. I can spend 300 usd on a whim, but I must plan before I buy quest 3. VR enthusiasts will buy quest 3, but if you are a casual gamer, or if you want to make a present to someone who didn't have VR, quest 3s is perfect. It's basically the same as quest 3, but has cheaper lenses. And you know what? Frenel lenses were ok for me in quest 2. I had problems with cheap ass chip that didn't support dynamic shadows and quest 3 kinda solved this problem.

your description regarding the adaptive contrast in lower brightness scenes was pretty confusing. First part of the explanation you simply rephrase what is written on the screen, secondly, you mention it INCREASES contrast, which is the opposite of what it says it does.. I guess I'll have to fire it up to see what it actually does. I typically prefer darker scenes like space to have very good blacks (as good as you can without oled of course)

I love VR, but it's just not comfortable to watch movies with an uncomfortable headset on your face. I purchased the XREAL Air 2 AR glasses for that. Now I can watch anywhere easily and comfortably, plus do things like wash dishes and clean while I'm watching.

Does the QGO have a dependency on the version of firmware used, thinking about Quest 3..? So, I'm on ver V67, if the Q3 updates to version 68 will QGO need to be reinstalled or need an update to run..? Thanks

Text to speech would be very helpful for visually impaired users such as myself. Mostly I am fine with the current accessibility options such as being able to bring the dashboard closer. Some apps and games though can be a challenge where text is concerned. You can increase text for the dashboard but not by much. Selecting the largest is a joke tbh. Apple’s Vision Pro for instance has far better accessibility options such as the brilliant voice-over text to speech plus you can zoom in on anything, but of course that headset is a whopping £3,500.

I really hope marvel gives this game a 2nd chance & brings it back with cross platform multiplayer between standalone & pcvr. This looks like such a fun game to play & Im sad I missed out on it when it wasn't shut down

Storm Troopers are infamous for their terrible aim, UNTIL you hold your lightsaber still in front of you, then they ALL deflect blaster bolts right off that lightsaber beam. Ohhhhhhhhh K!
